Inspired by the watch that started it all
N2 Moonphase is the spiritual successor to N1, the first-ever Juha Eskola watch. It shares the same base movement and case as the N2 Small Seconds, while introducing a moonphase complication and a distinctive two-tone, tuxedo-style dial. The hand-made moon disc features a black-polished stainless steel frame, a hand-hammered German silver background, and stainless steel moons polished and tempered to a warm gold hue. N2 Moonphase is delivered with hand-engraved bridges on the movement.

Hand-engraved Longines 30L
The N2 Moonphase features the vintage Longines 30L caliber, with a moonphase module added on top of the movement. The Longines 30L is a renowned high-quality movement with a heritage to match, and it is both aesthetically pleasing and watchmaker-friendly. Its moderate size also allows for a dress-watch-appropriate case size.
All parts visible through the sapphire caseback are hand-finished. A range of finishing techniques has been carefully selected to create a balanced aesthetic with meticulous attention to detail. Hand-engraved bridges are the finishing touch.

Two different options for numerals
N2 Moonphase is available with either applied Breguet numerals or with engraved, wax-filled numerals. The latter offers an almost endless number of customization options, as virtually any font can be used for the numerals. This allows each dial to be tailored to the wearer’s aesthetic preferences, from classical to highly contemporary styles.
Unique case finishingOne of the unique signature details in N2 is the hand-hammering finish on the trails on the side of the case. The rugged hand-hammered surface perfectly contrasts the otherwise polished case. The technique is often used in movement finishing and dials, but this is the first time I have seen it in cases.
