Elegant Moonphase Dress Watch
N2 was designed to be the perfect dress watch. It's timeless yet contemporary design drew inspiration from my work with jewellery and nature photogarphy. Distinct textures from frosted dial to hand-hammered case sides reflect the perfectly uneven surfaces found in nature. Understanding how light works enables effortelessly combining different materials and surface decorations. The result is a refined yet forever interesting spectacle of light and details. N2 Moonphase takes everything N2 representes and takes it to the next level. The moonphase adds an interesting detail. Paired with the tuxedo dial it makes a powerful yet elegant statement on your wrist.

Hand-finished Vintage Longines 30L Caliber
For the movement, I selected the famous Longines 30L vintage caliber. It's not only a high-quality movement with a heritage to match, but it's also aesthetically pleasing and watchmaker-friendly. The moonphase module is built on top of the movement at my workshop.
All parts visible through the sapphire glass in the caseback are hand-finished at my workshop. Different finishing techniques were carefully selected and implemented to create a balanced finish with impeccable attention to detail. All finishing is done by using traditional watchmaking methods. Gold chatons are the cherry on top.

Straight graining on bridges
Black polished screw heads
Hand-polished bevels
Snailing and black polishing on ratchet wheel
Frosting on crown wheel plate

Hand-made Moonphase DiscThe hand-made moonphase disc consists of three elements. First is the black polished stainless steel frame. Second, the hand-hammered German silver background perfectly contrasts the smooth steel bezel. The two moons are hand made out of steel and then scratched and tempered to a goldish color.

Unique case finishingOne of the unique signature details in N2 is the hand-hammering finish on the trails on the side of the case. The rugged hand-hammered surface perfectly contrasts the otherwise polished case. The technique is often used in movement finishing and dials, but this is the first time I have seen it in cases.
