Watchmaker's way
I am a 36-year-old Finnish watchmaker. Born in Ostrobothnia, stubbornness and perseverance — both essential in watchmaking — are deeply ingrained in me. Together with a strong desire to create, they form the foundation of my watchmaking.
Drawn into the world of horology, I applied to the Finnish School of Watchmaking in 2015 to pursue a career as an independent watchmaker. With a file in my hand and a vision in my head, I began my journey. Skills acquired and ideas refined were soon applied to my first prototypes. Step by step, the vision and prototypes turned into something to behold and wear on my wrist. With N1, my dream of creating handmade timepieces became a reality.
All my watches proudly bear my name on the dial and carry my vision in their design for generations to come.

Traditional craftsmanship is the ultimate way of creating. Using primitive tools to create unique timepieces gives watches a sense of identity and purpose that cannot be replicated by mass production.
Inspired by TRADITIONAL CRAFTSMANSHIP
From Lestijärvi to Manhattan, places have always inspired me. Certain places possess a rare magic, the ability to bring out the best in you. Places where you feel at home, whether by a lake under the nightless Nordic sky or with a slice in your hand on Carmine Street, allow your most profound ideas to take shape and turn into something tangible.
Inspired by PLACES
Nature is not only an endless source of inspiration but also a place to free one’s mind. A free mind is a prerequisite for creative thinking. Long before humankind, nature perfected surface finishes and vivid colours, qualities modern watchmakers continue to pursue. Today, these natural features are reflected in fine timepieces such as N1 and N2.
Inspired by NATURE
There is no greater freedom of creation than a blank canvas. The opportunity to create anything you desire is both exhilarating and deeply inspiring. Although watchmaking is constrained by the mechanical demands of the timepiece, the underlying idea remains the same: to create something beautiful on your own terms.
